...is a Physician's Assistant,
who provides
healthcare to a wide variety of patients. In 2005, Kristen earned her
Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology with a specialization in
Bioethics, Humanities, and Society from Michigan State University. In
2007, she went on to earn her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies
from Central Michigan University. She completed her clinical year in
the thumb area of Michigan.
Kristen is a member
of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan
Academy of Physician Assistants.
Kristen contributed
to the design and implementation of a project to increase community
education and awareness of necessary vaccinations for adults, which
won first place in the “Project in a Box” competition at the American
Academy of Physician Assistants annual conference in 2006. She
also participated in a vaccination clinic put on by the physician
assistant class of 2007 at Central Michigan University and she was
involved with a teddy bear clinic and bicycle helmet fitting to help
educate children on healthcare and safety.
Kristen enjoys small town communities and she looks forward to
providing medical care in the Niles-Buchanan community!
